Lingerie
The main edit. A tightly held list of houses — French, British, a handful of others we rate — across bras, briefs, bodysuits and suspender pieces. Naughty Knickers has been buying lingerie since 2011, and the shape of this page reflects what fifteen years of buying teaches you: fewer brands, better ones, and a clear view on why each is here.

Naughty Knickers has been buying lingerie since 2011. The Lingerie page is the centre of what we do — the edit we've sharpened over more than 15 years of working with the houses we consider most serious about their craft.
The French contingent carries most of the weight. Maison Close for architectural, provocative pieces and its Pure Tentation and Corps à Corps collections. Lise Charmel for embroidery work that remains, quietly, the most technically accomplished in the category. Cadolle for the house that effectively invented the modern bra and still makes pieces in Paris. Marjolaine for silk. Aubade where the design language earns it. From Britain, Coco de Mer and Dora Larsen. From Spain, Bracli and its pearls on Manacor. A small number of others, kept where they deserve to be.
The page covers the whole vocabulary — balconette, plunge, soft-cup and scarf wire bras, briefs and thongs, ouvert knickers, bodysuits and suspender belts.. But the organising principle isn't category. It's houses. We buy with a view rather than a checklist, and the things that aren't on this page aren't on it for a reason. Lingerie is a category the internet fills with noise. The point of this edit is to take some of it out.
