Prelude Milano
Prelude has been making considered lingerie in Europe since 1993. What distinguishes it is the detail — the kind that takes time to notice and longer to forget. The current collections, Venus and Pearl, draw from Botticelli and Vermeer respectively. Not as a gimmick, but as a genuine design language: soft interplays of light, intricate embroidery, fabrics that move.
Venus is built on floral embroidery layered over sheer fabric — ethereal, unhurried, available in teal and violet. Pearl takes its cue from Vermeer's Girl with a Pearl Earring: ultra-fine weblace, pearl-like finishing, a quietness that feels deliberate. Royal blue and black.
Both collections are crafted in Europe and designed to be worn slowly, not rushed.
