The Clair Obscur Openable Mini Thong pares the collection right back to its most essential lines.
Graphic openwork black lace forms the centre front, its chevron pattern creating the familiar Clair Obscur play of shadow and transparency against the skin. From there, everything becomes lighter: slim elastic sides sit almost invisibly against the body, keeping the silhouette minimal from every angle.
Those side straps are both adjustable and detachable, releasing with suspender-style clips and golden buttons. It is a beautifully simple mechanism — playful, practical and entirely in keeping with the collection’s fascination with openings and interaction.
From behind, the thong is deliberately spare, with the same graphic lace appearing again before narrowing into a clean centre line. The adjustable sides allow the fit to be refined at the hips, which is particularly useful on a piece this minimal.
There is very little fabric here, but plenty of design.
